Family Caregiver Coaching and Support for Working Family Caregivers

Being a working family caregiver means balancing career responsibilities with a loved one’s changing needs. You may be managing deadlines, employees, or clients while also navigating family dynamics, care decisions, and difficult conversations.

As a family caregiver coach for working family caregivers, I provide a practical, judgment-free space to step back, sort through what’s happening, consider your options, and determine how you want to respond.

You may notice my rates are more reasonable than many coaches’. There’s no catch, and I’m far from new. I’ve built and sold businesses, managed teams, cared for family, and guided others through many of the challenges my clients face.

That’s why I created Coach on Call—a private 50-minute coaching session for $60. It’s designed for busy professionals and family caregivers who need clarity, direction, or a confidence boost without a long-term contract or complicated package.

Every coaching relationship begins with a free 20-minute Initial Conversation to discuss your situation, answer questions, and determine whether coaching is the right fit.

Choose the Support That Fits Your Needs

Not every caregiver needs the same kind of support. Some people need practical information they can review on their own. Others want a private conversation about a specific situation. And sometimes, having both information and personalized coaching is the most useful approach.

20-Minute Initial Conversation — Free

Not sure what you need? Start here. Your free 20-minute Initial Conversation is a relaxed opportunity to talk about what’s changed, explain what you’re dealing with, ask questions, and explore practical next steps.

We’ll determine whether Coach on Call is a good fit for your situation and, if so, I’ll explain how it works. If coaching isn’t the right fit, I’ll do my best to point you in a helpful direction. There is no obligation to book a coaching session.

Coach on Call Session — $60

Focused, one-on-one family caregiver coaching for the situation you’re facing right now. Your 50-minute Coach on Call session gives you dedicated time to talk through a real-life challenge and gain practical perspective you can use right away.

A session may focus on:

  • A difficult conversation you’re preparing to have
  • A caregiving situation that has recently changed
  • A family disagreement
  • A workplace or business challenge
  • A difficult decision
  • Setting or communicating a boundary
  • Advocating for a loved one
  • A situation where you simply need another perspective

There is no required agenda and no homework. You bring the situation. Together, we’ll work through what’s happening, consider your options, and identify practical next steps.

Each session is booked through Calendly and paid in advance through PayPal or Venmo.

No contracts. No packages. No pressure. Schedule additional sessions whenever you need support. Coach on Call sessions also include a complimentary 20-minute progress check and limited offline support between sessions.

Caregiver Resource Library — $50

Practical information for the questions that come with caregiving. Caregiving questions rarely arrive one at a time. One day you’re worried about Dad’s driving. The next, Mom refuses help, your siblings disagree about what should happen, or you’re trying to understand Medicare, home care, assisted living, or long-term care.

The Caregiver Resource Library provides practical, easy-to-use resources to help you:

  • Recognize concerns and decide what needs attention
  • Ask better questions before making decisions
  • Consider options without jumping to conclusions
  • Prepare for difficult conversations with a loved one or family member
  • Understand common caregiving services, terminology, and choices
  • Identify practical next steps when something changes

The library includes resources from the “Where Do I Start?”, “What Can I Do?”, “What Should I Know?”, and “What Do I Say?” series.

You’ll also have access to four eBooks that provide deeper support on caregiving, communication, and decision-making, with additional resources added as the library continues to grow.

Caregiver Resource Library + First Coach on Call Session — $90

Get practical resources and personalized support together. Sometimes information helps, but you still need to talk through what it means for your situation.

This combined option gives you ongoing individual access to the Caregiver Resource Library plus your first 50-minute Coach on Call session.

During your coaching session, we can focus on the situation that matters most to you right now, whether that’s preparing for a difficult conversation, considering caregiving options, navigating a family disagreement, or identifying a practical next step.

You’ll receive:

  • Ongoing individual access to the Caregiver Resource Library
  • One 50-minute Coach on Call session
  • A complimentary 20-minute Progress Check
  • Limited offline support between sessions
  • The option to schedule additional Coach on Call sessions for $60 each

That’s a $20 savings compared with purchasing the Resource Library and Coach on Call session separately.

Caregiver-Friendly Workplace Essentials — Starting at $250

A practical starting point for small businesses that want to better support employees balancing work and caregiving responsibilities.

Includes a 60-minute leadership consultation, 60-minute employee training, 12 months of employee access to the Caregiver Resource Library, and a three-month follow-up.

Every workplace is different. Let’s talk first to determine whether Caregiver-Friendly Workplace Essentials is the right fit for your organization.

FAQs: Coaching & Support for Working Family Caregivers

What does a family caregiver coach for working family caregivers help with?

A family caregiver coach for working family caregivers helps you think through challenging situations involving work, caregiving, family relationships, difficult conversations, boundaries, and decisions.

At Brooks Coaching, you can use a Coach on Call session to prepare for a conversation, work through a family disagreement, consider caregiving options, communicate your needs at work, or gain perspective when you’re unsure what to do next. The goal isn’t to tell you what decision to make. It’s to help you communicate clearly, understand your options, and move forward with greater confidence.

What can I talk about during a Coach on Call session?

You can bring a specific situation, conversation, decision, or challenge that you’re currently facing. For example, you might need to prepare for a difficult conversation with a family member, figure out how to approach a workplace situation, think through a caregiving decision, or work out how to establish a boundary.

You don’t need to prepare an agenda beforehand. We’ll use the session to focus on what matters most to you.

How much does family caregiver coach cost at Brooks Coaching?

A 50-minute Coach on Call session is $60. Brooks Coaching also offers a free 20-minute Initial Conversation so you can discuss your situation and determine whether coaching is a good fit before scheduling a paid session.

The Caregiver Resource Library is available for $50, and the Resource Library plus your first Coach on Call session is available for $90. No long-term packages or contracts are required.

Can I book just one family caregiver coaching session?

Yes. Coach on Call is specifically designed to provide flexible, individual support without requiring a long-term coaching commitment.

You can schedule one 50-minute session when you need help with a particular situation and book additional sessions only when you feel another conversation would be useful.

What's the difference between the Caregiver Resource Library and Coach on Call?

The Caregiver Resource Library provides practical information and resources you can explore on your own, while Coach on Call provides personalized, one-on-one support focused on your specific situation.

If you’re looking for information, questions to consider, or resources to help you understand a caregiving issue, the library may be a good place to start.

If you need to talk through what is happening, prepare for a difficult conversation, consider your options, or get another perspective, Coach on Call may be more appropriate.

You can also combine both through the Caregiver Resource Library + First Coach on Call Session option.
