Is there a long-term contract?

All membership options are monthly memberships you can cancel anytime. I understand that situations change, especially for small business owners. I’m committed to providing what is needed only for as long as necessary.

Many clients find that the standard and premium memberships are excellent choices for two to three months, depending on their situation. They then switch to the sustaining membership option to maintain access to the masterclass call, group coaching call, and private coaching on an as-needed basis.

How do I join Brooks Coaching?

Membership starts with a free introductory call. Together we decide if Brooks Coaching is a good fit for your needs. If there is an opening, we can start right away. If not, you will be placed on the waiting list and we’ll start your membership once there is an opening.

What is a Clarity Call?

Do you have an idea for a new business, product, or service? Or perhaps you’re considering changing jobs or careers. Are you wondering if a new marketing strategy is right for you and your business? This free, one-time session can help you clarify your idea and help you decide what direction you want to take. Practicing your delivery with a trusted resource is always a good idea before you take it public to family, friends, or business associates. Confidence can reduce your stress and increase the odds of a positive outcome.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my membership?

While there are no refunds, I am committed to providing affordable, practical business communication coaching. I am sure that you will find our relationship valuable.

Can I renew my membership?

Your membership can be renewed as long as we both agree that Brooks Coaching is a good fit for your needs. The sustaining member option is a very affordable way to maintain our coaching relationship on an as-needed basis.

Can I rejoin Brooks Coaching if I cancel my membership?

I understand that your situation may change. If you cancel your membership and decide to rejoin at a later date, I’ll place you on the current waiting list and reach out as soon as there is an opening.

How can I pay for my membership?

Memberships are paid through Quickbooks. You can pay by credit card or through ACH transfers. I try to make the process as easy as possible for my clients.

Are there any in-person sessions?

All coaching sessions are online through Zoom and are recorded. I’ll send you the video within two days after the session so that you can review our conversation. If a client happens to be local to New Hampshire, I am open to meeting in person.

Do I have to be an immigrant?

Not at all! Any small business professional who would like to improve their English, business, or social skills is welcome to apply for membership.

What if English is my first language?

Even if English is your first language, you may need to improve your business English skills to communicate more effectively with clients, employees, and other business professionals. So we’ll work together to improve your English skills and your business and social skills as well.

Do I have to be a small business owner?

No, you don’t. Any small business professional who would like to improve their business English, business skills, or social skills is welcome to apply for membership. I especially enjoy mentoring young professionals and those who are transitioning from the corporate world to a small business career. I’m also delighted to help my fellow Veterans improve their business communication skills.

Do you work with network marketers?

Network marketing is a great way to meet people and earn money. I’ve had several network marketing businesses in the past and would be happy to help new or experienced network marketers refine their presentations and communicate more effectively.

Can you help me prepare for a presentation?

Absolutely! Small business professionals must be comfortable speaking about their business in many different settings.

Whether you’re pitching your product or service to a potential client or you’re the keynote speaker at a conference, improving your presentation skills can boost your confidence and increase your credibility. The presentation package is perfect for those who want to practice a presentation before they go live in front of an audience or camera.

Can you help me prepare for an interview?

Whether interviewing for a new job or being interviewed on a podcast, being able to answer questions with poise and confidence will help you succeed.

I also help my clients prepare for interviews when they need to hire employees or independent contractors. I help them define job descriptions, write interview questions, and prepare for the interview.

I enjoy helping my clients learn how to act and practice how to respond during an interview. It gives them confidence in the outcome.

Would you offer a group rate for my employees?

I’d be happy to discuss options for your business and employees. My goal is to help small business owners succeed, which often means training employees.

Are you available to speak at my event or meeting?

I enjoy speaking at events and meetings and tailoring my speech to each unique audience. I speak on various topics that help small business professionals build confidence in social and business settings. I’m comfortable talking to audiences of any size, online or in person. I would be happy to discuss options.
